The School offers Postgraduate programmes in:
Intake for all of the above programmes is in September.
Graduates should have an upper second or first class (or equivalent) in their first degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or other suitably cognate discipline. This may be supplemented by an appropriate MSc.
Applicants who do not reach the required standard are advised to apply for the School's MSc taught programme. If you reach the required standard on the MSc, and assuming that a supervisor is available, you should then be able to register for a PhD.
The course is offered to graduates holding good honours degrees, or equivalent, in a relevant engineering or science discipline.
English Language Requirements
Applicants must have one of the following English qualifications: 0 level/GCSE English, grade A to C; JMB Test, grades 1, 2, 3; Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), with a minimum mark of 550; or IELTS, with a minimum score of 6.0.
The University offers English Language programmes of varying length for students who do not meet the above English Language requirement.
